Fire Festival 2022, which takes place between Thursday (1) and Saturday (3) in Belo Horizonte, has the creative economy as its central theme
With the expectation of bringing together more than 6 thousand people in three days of event and generating an impact of R$ 40 million in Belo Horizonte, where it takes place, the Fire Festival started this Thursday (1) with the creator economy at the center of discussion, a segment that has been gaining more and more prominence in the communication universe.
Proof of this is that the sector moved US$ 1.3 billion, as shown by a survey carried out by the CB Insights data platform. Regarding the monetary return to the creator, the study revealed, the main source has still been advertising deals, which correspond to 77% of revenue.
Founder and CCO of YouPix, Bia Granja recalled that influencers were the path that brands found, especially since 2014, to create connections with consumers in the digital world. However, according to her, this scenario goes much further than the emergence of influencers.
The influence is the soft skills of the 21st century. And the creator, today, has to have audience, authority and relevance, said Granja, in one of the panels of the Fire Festival 2022.
Ana Paula Passarelli, COO of Brunch and co-founder of Toast, highlighted that the creator needs to have the ability to solve the problems of the community they represent. In addition, the executive spoke about the opportunities in the B2B market, which is increasingly opening up to content creators.
Being a brand consultant, as many creators have become lately, is another possibility of acting, as the creative capacity of this professional can help the structure of the market as a whole, he said.
And within this concept, Bia Granja stated that the market has pointed to the transformation of several creators into brands. Brands that do not become influencers will be left behind, as there are many influencers becoming brands, he guaranteed.
