Ita’s activities during the first weekend of Rock in Rio ranged from an open space for new names in the music scene, a vintage carousel and graffiti artists invited by Africa.

For the first time, a partnership with TikTok presented to the public a series of emerging artists who were born or became popular on the platform, in live shows that will take place in an exclusive arena.
The public was invited by Squad Ita, made up of names such as Marcos Mion, Pedro Sampaio, MC Dricka, Vanessa Lopes and Raphael Vicente, to participate in a vote on Ita’s profile on TikTok and assemble the set list of each show, with the right to daily lives with the most voted. Among the confirmed attractions, Ananda, Baco Exu do Blues, Fresno, Joo Gomes, Karen Jonz Lagum, Mc Dricka, Pedro Sampaio and Terno Rei, with a variety of styles and origins.
We always work focusing on unique projects, with high power to surprise, which we have been doing since 2011, together with Ita at Rock in Rio. With a creative revolution in each edition, we started from scratch and created something never seen before, with a new dream team specialist and dedicated to innovation. In an action created by Africa, four graffiti artists were invited to illustrate cups that are distributed at the event, in addition to lambe-lambes, walls and vignettes. The public gets in touch with the works of Carla Barth, Junno Sena, Negritoo and Irmos Credo through the more than 130 thousand glasses distributed at the event, in a central point in the shape of a metallic cube, almost 5 meters high.
In this year’s edition, in addition to the Ferris wheel, there is also an Ita action commanded by all., the public has access, for the first time, to an Italian vintage carousel, which has already passed through several European countries and even the Vatican, totally recovered for Rock in Rio. The Rock Carousel brings to the event a retro and, at the same time, innovative experience, which refers to affective memories and meetings with family and friends.
