Canadian singer Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, released today (7) the long awaited album, “Dawn FM”, the fifth of his career. The novelty has 16 tracks and partnerships with Jim Carrey, Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones, Tyler The Creator e Oneohtrix Point Never.
One of the songs that is part of the album, “Take My Breath”, was released in August 2021, and conquered space among the 100 most listened to of the year, according to the criteria of the Billboard. It is worth remembering that in addition to this, the songs “Save Your Tears” e “Blinding Lights” they were also high on the lists released by the musical platform. Check out the video:
The Weeknd’s partnerships in “Dawn FM”
As mentioned, big names in the artistic world such as actor Jim Carrey were collaborators on the project. The artist even described the work as “deep and elegant” via NME. The friendly relationship between The Weeknd and Jim Carrey dates back to before the release of “Dawn FM”. The actor was responsible for the narration of the trailer for the promotion of the album and the stars also exchanged messages on Twitter:
