Mercado Pago was present at the Rio de Janeiro Street Carnival and its mission was to give tips to the street vendors who were present in the blocks.
In the action, the brand had presenter Tati Machado to interview the sellers in order to understand how they prepared for the party, in addition to giving tips on how to sell more. The presenter also helped revelers to protect themselves during the holiday.
“Street Carnival is the best-known popular festival in the world and research has shown that the cell phone is the item that is always with the revelers, from the moment they leave home until they pay for what they consume at the blocks. The credit card is the means of preferred payment among revelers, it is essential that street vendors have a machine to guarantee good sales on the date”, explained Felipe Castano, head of marketing at Mercado Pago in Brazil.
