A Sao Paulo Oktoberfest, one of the biggest cultural events that integrates the official calendar of the capital of São Paulo, starts this Friday, 7, and will take place until October 23 (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays); there will be 9 days of partying at the Ibirapuera Gym Complex. In its 5th edition, the festival presents a schedule with great national and international attractions – there will be more than 30 shows, 80 gastronomic options, a variety of styles of draft beer, in addition to sustainable and social actions throughout the event.
The public will be able to see the opening show, on the 7th, with singer Silva, the international attraction Oktoberfestband Die Kirchdorfer, directly from the city of Munich, which will perform on the 7th, 8th and 9th. Monobloco, it is worth mentioning that tickets are sold out for this day. On Sunday, the 9th, the entertainment is provided by singers Paula Lima and Zélia Duncan. In addition to these attractions, it is worth mentioning the typical German music bands such as the Big Band, which has a vast repertoire of German titles, international rock and pop, which will perform during the festival.
Expecting to receive more than 80 thousand people in nine days with attractions for the whole family and groups, Walter Cavalheiro Filhoambassador of Sao Paulo Oktoberfest, comments that the festival does not give up quality and tradition, at the same time that it is driven by the spirit of challenges and innovation. “In this edition we managed to unite these two characteristics, expanding our space, our musical range and ensuring the best beer experience in the city”, he explains.
“São Paulo Oktoberfest is a very significant event in the strategic calendar of the city of São Paulo because it connects with another culture through artistic and gastronomic manifestations, allowing São Paulo residents and tourists to experience an international party, celebrated almost simultaneously in several places in the world. world, also here in São Paulo, moving the local economy and the tourist trade”, says the municipal secretary of Tourism, Rodolfo Marinho.
As for the gastronomic options, the Sao Paulo Oktoberfest promises to unite traditional and innovative flavors. curated by chef Marcos Baldassari, which was featured on the TV show MasterChef, the festival will present 80 options of dishes, starters and desserts, in addition to classic German cuisine represented with the dishes preferred by the public, such as “Joelho São Paulo Oktoberfest” (with potatoes and sauerkraut), “Salsichão Pork”, “Salsichão de Veal”, “Hot Dog Alemão”, novelties such as “Joelho Aperitivo”, “Rösti com Bacon”, and several portions made with pork knee and side dishes. According to Baldassari:

The gastronomic options will be distributed throughout the Ginásio Ibirapuera complex – Biertent, Biegarten and Drinkgarten. Aurora Alimentos, sponsor of the event, signs the menu of the Munich Club, the festival’s box, and together with Cepêra, official supporter, is present in recipes at Biertent’s typical German restaurant – an internal area of the event where the presentations of the main national attractions take place. and typical bands.
The festival will also feature highlights from vegetarian and vegan cuisine, with options of shimeji coxinha with cream cheese, tapioca dadinho, sweet potato chips with guacamole. Spanish gastronomy options also add a sophisticated touch, bringing the traditional “Paella del Pepe” with seafood, chicken, vegetables, rice, “Bocadillo de Jamón” – Spanish ham sandwich with Catalan sauce, “Bocadillo de Langosta” – version of the lobster Roll, a cold sandwich with lobster tail and spicy mayonnaise.
To please all tastes, Brazilian food will also be celebrated, with options of rib drumstick, French fries, assorted steak sandwiches, pork meat; smoked termite sandwich and pulled pork – exclusive creations by chef Marcos Baldassari. In addition, the São Paulo public will have options for their favorite dish: pizzas, with different flavors and formats.
After tasting starters and main courses, the public will be able to check out various desserts, from mini churros with ice cream, chocolate and fruit fondue, to brigadeiro, banoffe, chocolate brownie and coffee. The prices of dishes, portions and snacks range from R$16 to R$120.
