Concentration aims to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining the Law
The Promotional Marketing Association (Ampro) announced its support for the Perse Law (Emergency Program for the Resumption of the Event Sector) and informed that it will be with a delegation in Brasilia this Wednesday (7), for the mobilization that will take place in the Plenary of the Chamber of Deputies.
The concentration aims to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining the achievements of the Emergency Program for the Resumption of the Events Sector, threatened with extinction by Provisional Measure (MP) 1.202/2023, sent to congress.
On this occasion, the association and several other companies and entities in the events sector will present the “Manifesto in defense of PERSE”, which must be signed by the largest number of congressmen.
The manifesto is being disseminated by entities representing the Tourism and Events sector, which form the G20+ Tourism, in defense of legal security, social justice and employment against the MP.
According to the document, public policy is being revoked not because of a negative result, but because of the government’s failure to study its impacts. These impacts are extremely positive and clear. According to CAGED, in the previous 12 months MP 1202, the sectors with the highest job growth rates were Arts, Culture, Sport and Recreation (+9.88%) and Accommodation and food (+6.4%), totaling 146,682 (one hundred and forty-eight six thousand) jobs generated, helping the national average of 3.4% positive variation in employment. Exactly the areas encouraged by Perse.
Furthermore, the manifesto also points out that the Executive Branch disregards the R$18 billion in tax revenue obtained through the debt renegotiation provided for in the Law.
