IRKO Hirashima, a national leader in the field of accounting, auditing and consulting for companies, is the new partner to enter the field with Brazilian rugby.
Belonging to the IRKO Group, the company signed this week with the Brazilian Rugby Confederation (CBRu) an agreement that will guarantee an initial three-year sponsorship for the Brazilian franchise Cobras Brasil XV.
Made up of Brazilian and South American high performance athletes, Cobras will have this new ally to compete again in the American Rugby Superliga (SLAR), in the first half of 2022. The tournament, important for the development of high performance athletes, counts with the participation of another five South American teams.
“Knowing that IRKO Hirashima chose CBRu for the rugby values (discipline, respect, integrity, passion and solidarity) is motivating. CBRu does serious work for a better Brazil and we are advancing the ESG agenda. It is a joy to end the year with another partnership so important celebrated”, comments Mariana Miné, CEO of CBRu.
By the way, the organization was once again selected to compete, on the 17th, for the Sou do Esporte Award for its good governance practices in sports management.
“We see in this partnership an excellent opportunity to spread these principles. We believe that contact with athletes will yield lessons of strength and determination for our employees. Furthermore, we trust in the power of social transformation of sport”, says Aquiles Gutierrez, partner at IRKO Hirashima.
In addition to advertising, the agreement will include internal marketing actions to bring rugby lessons to company employees. “We were delighted to see our commonality of values, such as a management model focused on governance, long-term strategic thinking and a firm belief in the team’s potential. We believe in this union to expand our reach in Brazil and Latin America”, completes Eduardo Luque, managing partner of the IRKO Group.
