C&A brought together singers Manu Gavassi, Preta Gil, Ludmilla and actress Grazi Massafera to star in the campaign for the brand’s new clothing line, called “Além dos mares”.
With a soundtrack made by Maurício Herszkowica, music producer and partner at MugShot, the artists re-recorded the song “Uma Noite e ½”, by Marina Lima. The production of the video, which was recorded in Alter do Chão, Rio de Janeiro, Fernando de Noronha and Salvador, was made by Mangaba Produções.
“With a production dynamic that involved such distant locations, it was necessary to rely on a lot of discipline and organization from everyone involved. And, of course, the natural beauty of these places was the fuel for an above-expected delivery”, says Felipe Tadeu, Executive Producer and founder of Mangaba.
According to the note sent to the press, the artists participated in the creative process and production of the pieces. For Mariana Moraes, Marketing Director at C&A Brasil, the choice of celebrities was fundamental in this process. “Different from previous years, in this entry, we wanted to unite the DNA of people with authorial points of view to the tourist wonders of Brazil for the most anticipated beachwear collection by Brazilian women”, he declared.
